The Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany (‘Bundeskunsthalle’) in Bonn is currently displaying the exhibition “The last of their kind – Crafts and Professions in Transition”, which takes a look at the changes within the workforce that have been taking place due to the industrialization and the societal, technical and digital transformations of the world we live in. The focus lies on the most endangered jobs in North-Rhein-Westphalia: The craftsmanship of baking and tailoring, the end of coal mining, the profession of cashiers and the craft of typesetting.
The exhibition can be visited until April 2nd, 2023 at the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn.
